Cancellation policy

Right of Cancellation
You are entitled to cancel the contract without giving any reasons within 14 days  in writing (e.g. letter, fax, e-mail) or – if the goods were delivered before this deadline – by returning the goods. The cancellation period starts after receipt of this notification in writing, but not before the receipt of the goods by the recipient (and in case of recurring deliveries of similar goods, not before the receipt of the first partial delivery) and it also does not begin before our fulfilment of our obligations to inform according to article 246 § 2 in conjunction with § 1 paragraph 1 and 2 EGBGB (Introductory Law to the German Civil Code) as well as our obligations according to § 312g paragraph 1 sentence 1 BGB (German Civil Code) in conjunction with article 246 § 3 EGBGB. To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient to send the cancellation or return the article within the stated period. The cancellation needs to be addressed to:

Consequences of your Cancellation

In the event of an effective cancellation, the services rendered by both parties shall be returned and any benefits derived therefrom (e.g. interest) shall be surrendered. If you are unable to return or surrender the rendered services and benefits (e.g. benefits of use), or are only able to do so in part or in a deteriorated condition, you must compensate us for the loss of value. You only have to pay compensation for the deterioration of the item and for any benefits derived if the benefits or the deterioration were caused by handling the item beyond the mere testing of its properties and functionality. “Testing its properties and functionality” is intended to mean testing and trying the respective goods, as it would be possible and customary in a retail store. Goods that can be shipped by parcel are to be returned at our risk. You have to bear the regular costs of the return shipment if the delivered goods correspond to the ordered goods and if the price of the goods to be returned does not exceed an amount of 40 euros or if, in case of a higher price of the goods, you have not yet provided the consideration owed or a contractually agreed partial payment at the time of the cancellation. Otherwise, the return shipment will be free of charge for you. Items that cannot be sent by parcel will be collected at your place. Obligations to refund payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. For you, the cancellation period starts with the dispatch of your cancellation or the goods, for us, it starts with their receipt.

Notes with Regard to the Exclusion of the Cancellation Right

The cancellation right does not apply to the delivery of goods that are manufactured according to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs or to the delivery of audio or video recordings or software, if the delivered data carriers have been unsealed by you.

Notes with Regards to Returns

The modalities mentioned in this section (“Notes with Regard to Returns”) are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the abovementioned cancellation right.

Customers are requested to notify the seller of the return by phone: 02903 2939841 or via an e-mail sent to service@danacards.de before returning the goods. In this way they faciliate the quick allocation of the goods for the seller.
Customers are requested to return the goods to the Seller as a prepaid package and to keep the receipt of delivery. The Seller will reimburse customers for postage costs in advance if requested, unless the Customer is responsible for these costs.
Customers are requested to prevent damage or contamination of the goods. If possible, the goods should be returned to the Seller in the original packaging with all accessories. If the original packaging is no longer in the possession of the Customer, other suitable packaging should be used to ensure adequate protection against damage in transit and to avoid any claims for damages due to inadequate packaging.
