Healing

The picture is called “Healing” and was inspired by a patient I was allowed to accompany. She was diagnosed with heart failure and the chances of her heart recovering were slim. But she is a disciplined fighter and surprised us all with her amazingly good values at her last check-up. Even herself, by the way. She is not healthy, will have to take medication for the rest of her life and will have restrictions. Nevertheless, she has managed to make the best of her really bad illness and live with it.
